Southern Asia and India show high levels of unemployment in the global market. Although the GDP seems to have hiked about 20 to 34% yet there remains no progress in the statistics of the number of unemployed in these regions. Though liberalization and industrialization have increased considerably over a period of time yet the stats of the level of employment do not show any increase at all. One-fifth of the labour force of Asia Pacific is made of youth and that is roughly about only half of the jobless population. Now, that fact definitely calls in for a Paradigm shift, doesn’t it?
